Save as Web page showing only incomplete tasks?

Hi everyone,

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a way to save the
project file as a webpage, showing only those tasks which
are incomplete. I can print pages with all tasks
easily, but that's not helpful as everyone ends up
scrolling through 100's of complete tasks to see what
still needs to be completed.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

On the Task Mapping page of the Export Wizard, there is a Filter drop down
list in the upper right corner of the dialog. Select the Incomplete Tasks
filter from the list and then your export should work fine. Hope this
helps.

Thanks for the response Dale. I currently have the
filter set for a specific resource. From what I see, I
can't choose both resource and incomplete tasks as my
filter.

Any idea on how to get around this? I have to imagine
that printing lists of unfinished tasks for each
individual isn't something completely unheard of. :)

No problem. You will need to create a custom filter that is a compound
filter which does a "contains" filter for the specific resources name and
looks for tasks where the % Complete is less than 100%. You could start by
copying the Incomplete tasks filter, renaming the copy, and then adding the
addition filter line to seek out the resource you want. Once you have
created the new filter, copy it to your Global.mpt file (Tools - Organizer -
Filters) for use with all present and future projects. Thanks for
confirming your problem. Now I think you have enough to solve it. Hope
this helps.

Thanks Dale. That was exactly what I needed.
