saved emails on disk as .pst files,

I saved old email messages as .pst files. I've now purchased a new computer
and want to transfer these messages to new Microsoft outlook. When I start
the CD it shows contents as OUTLOOK - in properties says type of file is
Office Data File - size: 352 MB How do I move these to my new computer?
when I click on them, I'm asked what I want to open them with... Outlook is
not a choice given. Help, I'm a computer moron.
