Saving to hard drive

Is it possible to save a powerpoint presentation that is on a website to the
hardrive so that it can be used on my powerpoint at home? I can send a
shortcut to my desktop, but that still connects me to the internet. I want
to be able to view it without connecting to the internet at all. If
possible, can someone please explain how to do this?

It is not a ppt or pss file but rather a htm file. Is it possible to convert
to be able to do what I want?
