Schedule dates do not reflect duration

I have a couple of linked tasks that have a 5 day durations, but the
successor task is starting on the finish date of the predecessor. It seems
like the tasks are not completing at 5pm on the finish date, but at 2pm,
eventhough the task is 5 full working days. How can I resolve this problem?

Check your calendar assigned to the task. Make sure it is a 5 days a week.
You may want to make this your default calendar.
Tools/Change Working Time to check calendar settings
Tools/Options/Calendar to check your default settings

Scottie,
In addition to what Catfish said, you might also want to display the
time (Tools/Options/View tab Date Format) in the Start and Finish field
to insure the task Duration is truly 5 full days.
