Scrollbars and status bar are not showing up sometimes

Hi-
When I open some files the Verticle and Horizontal scroll bars as well as
the Status bar are gone. I have to manually reshow them. This happens with
some files but not others and even the same file will show them one time and
then not the second. Is there any way to fix this? It is really annoying.

I can't imagine anything in Word, itself, that would be causing this. Sounds
more like a macro or Addin is turning them off, and not back on.
