Hi Mason,
sorry, I did not express exactly what I did.

I do not get results, when I do a search in the microsoft.public.groove forum.
I simply open the site of Discussions in Microsoft.public.groove
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.groove&fltr=

In "Search For:" box, I enter e.g.: Groove
(I made sure, it is a word, which is seen in the text body of a message.)
I never get a search result. Whatever I am searching for.

Who has the same issue?
How to search in Microsoft.public.groove forums?

Cheers

I reported the same issue about a month ago. No matter what you search on the
results are always blank...obviously still no resolution...I think one of Ray
Ozzie's first jobs should be to take care of this BUG!!

If you're reading Ray, thanx in advance.

Cheers, James

James, thanks. This helps, lowering my expectations from Microsoft. :)
- Get Groove 2007 Beta out and stop Groove 3.1 Selling
- Get Forum of Groove.net shut down while Microsoft.public.groove search
does not work well.

One more note: FORUMS are the place, where many people sneak in, before
felling a decision. That is the same these days with Videocameras, PDAs, and
of course Software. If I would be in a decision phase, and read through the
groove forum, this would rather shock me then encourage me, to decide for
Groove. Groove is more far away from apearing professional on the market than
ever before (see 2 above points).

my 2c.

I'm sure MS can stand up for its self, but in it's defence G2007 is in beta
and isn't scheduled for release 'til next year. But having a forum like this
is always a risk for any company, as by nature it's going to appear negative,
i.e., not too many people are going to post messages like "Form Design tool
works great". Having said that, if the issues posted on this site don't get
addressed for G07 release then I'm going to let'em ave'it.

I find it very bizarre though that the search in this forum doesn't work!
