This is an odd one that I am not sure where to go. Our IT person says they
didn't do anything but this behavior just started happening out of the blue.
We use an exchange server and everybody in my team has access to a joint
account. In this account there is an additional column that was added in
Customize View:Messages/Fields and it is in User Defined Fields. When you
have access to that field, if you select an email in the inbox by anything
BUT the icon column (or if you just switched to that mailbox and don't have
anything selected yet) you can not scroll up or down. If you go to the
reading pane it works but not in the inbox its self. Like I said this is new
behavior and I am the only one experiencing it. I have gone to our IT person
and they are less than helpful in this issue.
The way I realized something was wrong was I noticed a new column (the one
we use to mark who has what email) was now showing on my personal inbox where
as it never had before. I also realized at that time the scrolling behavior.
Now here is what is wierd, I have several folders that do NOT exhibit this
behavior and there is no rhyme or reason for it. the drafts, deleted and sent
items are not effected as well as a handfull of ones that I have created. If
anybody has any ideas it would be appreciated as this is annoying as all get
out because I usually have a couple hundred emails in my inbox and more that
are filed away that also have this same issue. I know it isn't anything on my
side but I need to tell IT what THEY need to do to fix this.
