We are in the process of trying to figure out the best way to communicate
with a lot of our small business customers. We need to send out messages to
various small groups, on a monthly, and sometimes, a weekly basis either by
email or fax, depending on the recipient's preference. Now, we are doing
this using Outlook 2000 to create personal distribution lists to send emails
and another program to send faxes.
The list now is in the 50-100 range but is growing rapidly and I have been
put in charge of exploring a way to automate the process and consolidate the
groups under one software program. Because the list is growing rapidly I
have also been wondering if it's possible to send to the various recipients
by scheduling these emails and faxes to go out at night unattended. We are
using Internet Mail Only with XP Pro machines and we are also a very small
company.
