.site file

I just inherited a bunch of web site files but I don't know what development
tool was used to create it. There is file in the root folder named "aaa.site"
(where aaa is the name of the web project. There are also 3 subfolders named
"web-content", "web-data", and "web-settings". Does FrontPage generate a
..site file as part of its output? If not, does anyone have any ideas what
tool was used to generate this kind of setup? Thx.

FP doesn't generate any of these types of files.

Filext.com says it's an Adobe GoLive website project file.
