Sliding a group of tasks

I repeat the same tasks each time I get a new customer. They are always the
same when it comes to their relation in time to each other, but obviously not
the date when they start. Is there a way I can make a master template of
some kind, with each task and its length and relation to all the others and
then just slide it to fit a new customer?

Thanks for the help

Josh,
Sure. FIrst create the file and save it as a template. Then when you are
ready to adjust if for your new customer, open it and run the "Adjust
Dates" utility found on the Analysis toolbar.

Hi Josh,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You might like to see FAQ Item: 8. New Project Template. In your case, keep
all the tasks as planned. Then, when ready, run the Adjust Dates macro on
the Analysis tookbar.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
