Slow Slide Transitions on Mac

Hello,

I created a PowerPoint presentation using MS PPT 2000 and then burned it on
a disc to be played on my boss' Mac laptop.

The slide transition was extremely slow. Does this have to do with Mac/PC
thing?

I've read a lot about the Power Point Viewer. Will downloading that on the
Mac solve the problem?

Any help is appreciated.

It could be that, or it could be the fact that your boss's Mac isn't as fast
as the computer on which the presentation was created.

I don't think so, but because the Classic versions of PowerPoint were in
some respects speedier than PowerPoint X, it might be worth a try. Keep in
mind that the Viewer does not support the latest transitions.
