I am having the same problem. I have asked before for info on what is
happening during startup of Outlook. Apparently no-one knows. The only
response I have gotten so far is the I should disable Instant Messaging. I
didn'rt enable it. It is still disabled. Any hints from the Microsoft
experts? Thanks. Tom

Do you have BCM (Business Contact Manager) installed? If so that will slow
down the loading of Outlook 2003. So will any other COM add-ins you have
loaded.

I am running Outlook 2002

No COM add-ins are showing up from within Outlook 2002
(Tools/Options/..)although within System Info it is showing Microsft VBA for
Outlook Add-in is installed

Is this an issue ?
