Start of a task

Is it possible to have Project start a task at the beginning of the day if it
is preceded by partial day tasks?

I have full day tasks that start in the middle of the day and then finish
with a partial day at the end of the task.

Hello,
Yes, its possible :
Create a small intermediate task : 1 minute duration
Link this fake task to the partial day task as a predecessor
Link this fake task to the full day task as a successor.
Create a new calendar : Tools / Change Working Time / New...
Select all the colums from the M of Monday to the F of Friday
Change the time : From 7:59 to 8:00
Double CLick the fake task : in the Task Information dialog, click the
Advanced tab.
Calendar : select your new calendar.
