Starting a cookbook in Publisher

Hi.

While I'm familiar with Word, I know almost nothing about Publisher. I've
poked around it a bit.

I'm wanting to create a cookbook for my church in Publisher, so I want it
to look as good as possible.

My question: How do I set up my layout so that each page uses the same size
textbox so my pages are uniform in appearance? Is this something that can be
created in Word and copied into Publisher?

I'm sure I'll have other questions as I go. I really appreciate your help.

Best regards,

If I set up my textbox in a master page will it continue throughout the rest
of my publication? Are there special step, boxes to check, etc., to make that
happen?

Thanks.

If you set up a text box in a Master Page, then it will appear on every
page that uses that Master Page (by default, every page in the
publication). Unfortunately for you, it will also display exactly the
same text on every page, and so it is not a suitable setup for your
situation.

Thank you for that information. I'm sure as I play around with my project
I'll be back with more questions. I appreciate the assistance.

I don't know what version of Publisher you have, but you can see if this
works on yours: Create your first blank page, then click on INSERTat the top
of tool bar, click PAGE in the drop-down menu, fill in the number of desired
pages (multiples of 4) at the top, then click on "Duplicate all objects on
page." This will copy blank text boxes exactly the same size as the first
page. It is also helpful to connect all text boxes at this stage, so that as
you fill in each page with recipes, text will overflow automatically into the
next page. Any changes will automatically adjust text on following pages.
