Task Duration

I have input certain tasks' durations in months (ex: 3 mons). However the
task duration in months results in months which seem to be shorter than
calendar months!! What do I need to do to make my task month duration be
equal to the calendar month duration? Thanks for help. Jiri

Hi Jiri,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

You can't as months vary in length. Use days or weeks or, in
Tools/Options/Calendar, redefine a month from 20 working days to something
nearer your requirements.

Remember that duration is defined as the amount of working time required to
complete a task. Time where no one is able to work to drive the task
forward doesn't count. While a calendar month may have 30 days, only about
20 of those days matter in terms of scheduling work.
