Text Box alignment issues

I have several text boxes in a report, I have the cangrow and canshrink
properties set on all of them. The problem is, I can't get one set of text
boxes to stay together. On one page, they are grouped normally, then on the
next page, there might be 1/2 inch gaps. I have experimented with all sorts
of grouping but nothing works.

What so you mean by "grouping"?

What is a "set" of text boxes?

What do you think "grouped normally" looks like?

I have several text boxes on one line in a report. I don't know if this

Text 1
Blah blah Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Number 1. shows how the first line looks. The data in Textbox 1 can be
quite long and there is only one item under that text box. The other text
boxes can have data in them or not, and can have several items of data in
them.

As the report is printing, the data in Text 2 has gaps and is not lined up
as it should be.
1. Text 1 Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Text 1 Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

2. Text 1 Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

3. Text 1 Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Text 2 Text 3 Text 4
Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Text 2
Blah blah

I want to see all of the #2 text boxes to stay in the same place, and not
move.

Hope that helps.

Gina, thanks for your reply, I have the detail section set Can Grow/Can
Shrink. I just can't keep the text boxes in what I call column two to keep
the same spacing. The spaces are on the top and bottom of those boxes.

Not sure I can interpret that correctly, but double check
that the text boxes all have the same values in their Top
and Height properties.

Also check to see in any of the fields in the table have a
bunch of blanks or newlines after the text,

If some of that stuff is in a group header, then there may
be a lot more going on than you have explained so far.
