Text Box Initial Format in Publisher 2003

When I open a text box on my computer the box is outlined with gray dott ed
lines. When opening a text box on a friends computer there are no lines. How
do I change for format on my friends computer to show lines? Please note that
when I open one of my files on his computer the text box lines appear.

On your friend's computer, select View, Show boundaries and guides.
(This will change to "Hide boundaries and guides.." if you wish to go back-)
