text over video

I basically am trying to use the video on my slide as a backround, but no
matter what I try I can't get the text to stay on top of the video when
it starts to run. what do I need to do....or is it even possible?

It's not possible in powerpoint.

The only workaround I know off is to use the "transparent" add-in

then play your video underneath powerpoint.


Or edit your video clip to include the text
