tracking custom field information

Lily

In Project 2007 I need to locate the information in the custom fields. I have
been asked to set up an excel spreadsheet listing the Name, Screen , Table ,
Group
Filter. Where do I locate the information in the project?

I am a Newbie.

Hi,

Are you sure the people who asked you aren't pulling your leg?
About every object in Project has a name, so that can mean anything.
What's the point in putting in Excel the properties of the view (screen,
Table, Group, Filter)
By all means, if yoiu want to see all this together, View menu, More Views,
Edit.

Hope this helps,

Hello Jan: Thanks for your response. In the future I will be inserting a
lower level project into this project and I think the concern is that the two
project managers don't overlap and use the same name in custom fields. I am
not sure because I am a Newbie trying to help them out. Any other
suggestions?
