Tricks in headings..

Trying to modify heading1 so that it does the following - let me see if I can describe this without pictures.

Normally, you would have a Heading1 being something like

1 This is the heading.

What I want is a "two part" box that looks something like..

+--------------+---------------------------+
| Section 1 | This is the heading |
+--------------+---------------------------+

a) inserting the work "Section" in front of the section number.
b) Splitting the number and text into two separate boxes (which will have different background colors.

Any ideas on how to do this?

You can certainly make a table in the Header area and shade each
cell of the table with a different color. I've never needed to
have Word automatically insert the section (chapter) number, but
it should be possible. However, I don't know any way you could
get it to automatically insert the chapter number in one cell and
the chapter name in the other cell.
