Using Outlook 2000 on XP Pro. I opened the .pst file of a
user other than the user that the PC is set up for and
didn't close it for a few weeks. Now, when I try to close
it by right clicking and selecting "Close Personal
Folders" I get the message "The operation failed. An
object could not be found". Does anyone know how I can
close this set of folders or stop them from opening?
I found a relevant Knowledge Base article
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;241880&Product=out) for Outlook 98 regarding deleting
registry references but the registry doesn't appear to
have the same settings with Outlook 2000 and I'm not that
comfortable deleting things from the registry unless I
know the exact key to delete.
Any help would be appreciated. Also are there searchable
archives for this newsgroup and if so, how do I access
them?
