unable to open outlook 2003 in XP

I've been using Outlook for years but now find this error message after
installing Osasync. " cannot start outlook, unable to open outlook window,
set of folders could not be opened"
I have tried using my backup to no avail and scanpst does not help. I've
tried to uninstall office twice but this does not solve it.
Any other suggestions?
