Unable to run apps...

Have a W2k3 TS up and running with all applications except those from
Office 2k3 Pro Suite.

After reading many posts and documents on the installation process for O2k3
Pro, I thought I was ready to go forward. Proceeded with the installation
as follows:

- Start > Run > 'change user /install' > OK
- Installed office pro suite w/ default options
- Completed install and launched application [OK]
- Installed sp2
- Again verified app launched OK
- Start > Run > 'change user /execute'

Logged off session, then logged back in as a user and when I launch the
application modules, I get the following error (regardless of module):

This feature is not available. For more information, contact your system
administrator.

Admins and power users have no issue running application, only users.
Anyone run across this issue before?

Additionally, the install was from the MAPS. Is this an issue? Also, since
I have 10 licenses w/ MAPS for O2k3 Pro, how can I possibly install these
since they are not volume licenses - just 10 individual keys?!

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Clarence,

when you are installing, make sure you are logged in as an ADMINISTRATOR
or a USER with these previleges. Then insert the CD in the drive and it
should launch the setup automatically. Now make sure you have selected
an item alled "COMPLETE" to indicate you want everything to run from the
machine (NOT the CD). Also, if there is a selection for users, select
all users on this PC/System.

In my case the installation was quite straight forward.

Let us know if this helped.

TS meaning Teacher Student? If that is the case you are not able to update to some of or all of the Office 2003 Pro suites. TS cannot be updated to a higher version of Office. You will need a clean install of Office 2003 Pro without that (TS) version on your system.
