After our project manager has assigned tasks to users, and the users have
updated the progress on the tasks, the project manager logs into Project
Server and Accepts the updates. The updates are applied to the Project file
fine. However, the project manager's Updates screen in Project Server never
clears the updates like it used to. They stay there forever. He has to
scroll down a list of updates a month long to get to the newest updates that
he needs to accept.
No error messages are ever displayed or anything like that. However, I do
see some Application Event Viewer errors (Event IDs 1 & 2, and several of
them). Searching the www didn't produce any useable related results
regarding those.
Project Server is at version SP2a, the SQL dB updates were applied
successfully as part of that update. The server runs SQL 2000 on Windows
Server 2003 SP1. The project manager is using Project Pro 2002.
Any ideas?
