upgrade to office 2003 from 2000

I have office 2000 on my home computer and just purchased
a new notebook. I am buying a new copy of office 2003
for the notebook, however I don't want to buy another
upgrade copy (2000 to 2003) for the home system.

Can I just install the new 2003 on the home computer over
the 2000 copy or do I have to uninstall the 2000 copy
that's on the home system.

I am assuming I can have the same copy on the both
computers as long as I only use one at a time.

I have been trying to ask MS's help line this info and no
luck dealing with them..........shame on them.

Thanks

Peter

Purchase the Office 2003 Upgrade Edition of your choice.
When you install Office 2003 on the computer with Office 2000 installed, the
installation program will delete Office 2000 for while transferring all your
settings to Office 2003.

After you install Office 2003 and activate, open any Office 2003
applications and go to Help, About {the application}. There you will find a
link to your EULA. The EULA will explain the limitations on installing and
using Office 2003 on your desktop and your laptop. You will need your
Office 2000 CD to install Office 2003 Upgrade on your laptop.
