Visio 2003 Import Problems

I have an Excel spreadsheet that was created using the Export function in
Visio 2002. It contains tow tabs one contains drawing objects data and the
other contains connectors data.

I can import both into 2003 (i.e.drawing shapes and connectors) but I
cannot get the connectors to connect with their shapes (i.e. as per the
oginal drawing).
The conectors are preent but remain unconnected to their shapes.

Has anyone found a solution t this problem please?

I have tried all the prescribed microsoft ways of copying a visio chart into a PTT, all I get is the visio shapes; no connecting lines or text labels?

This sounds familiar, perhaps something with Visio or the fact that the
object (OLE) when in another Office app is a EMF picture when the object is
not being edited or both.

When you say you've tried all the prescribed ways, what exactly have you
tried? Have you tried Paste Special as a picture into PPT? What happens if
you increase the line weight and font a few points in Visio then copy/paste.
