What projects from the server (published) will you see when openin

When you go to Project 2003 on your desktop and select file 'open' you get
the box showing 'published' projects. In this list what projects will you
see, for example only the ones you created or all projects. If you see all
projects what would stop you from viewing projects you should not have access
to?

Thanks

What you see is directly related to the security set up by your Project
Server admin. Ask them this question as they are the only ones who can
answer this question.

By default, Project Server 2003 shows only the following projects in the
Open from Microsoft Office Project Server dialog:

1. Projects that you created and currently manage
2. Projects in which you are a team member
3. Projects in which your resources are team members

Does this explain what you see? If not, then your Project Server
administrator may have changed the default permissions to allow you to see
more projects or less projects in the dialog. Hope this helps.

Hi Cynthis ,

Next time, try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24.

Hi Cynthis,

The server newsgroup is where the experts on Project Professional and its
attendant server applications hang out. This ng is for standard project
problems and we don't want it to be clogged up with server problems. Apart
from anything else, if you have a problem with Pro, the chances are that a
response given on this ng may not be possible or appropriate to the Pro
version with PWA usage.
