When re-open publisher file it seems blank, but will print??lost?

Everytime I work on Publisher,,,I save my work,,,then re-open it and it
appears blank. If I print it out it all comes out great,,,but I cant make
any changes to something I cant see. What am I doing wrong????

Try updating your video card or lowering your graphics accelerator.

Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot, and drag the
Hardware Acceleration slider down
