Where can I find the dagger footnote mark?

Insert | Symbol

With Times New Roman its 134 (or Alt+0134 if you want to do it manually
without Insert | Symbol)...for other fonts you'll hve to look and see if the
dagger is available.

With Times New Roman its 134 (or Alt+0134 if you want to do it manually
without Insert | Symbol)...for other fonts you'll hve to look and see if the
dagger is available.

As it's in the first 255 characters, most fonts will have it (it's not
like Unicode characters where only Unicode fonts will have it). If a
font has it, it should be on Alt+0134.

Personally, I have it mapped on my keyboard as AltGr+1. (AltGr is the
European Right Alt key, is used to input additional characters, and is
simulated with Ctrl+Alt on US keyboards.)

Mentioned it because my default text is Verdana and in that font it looks
like a cross.
