Which program is best?

Is microsoft project the best software package to manage multiple tasks and
projects? Can is also track staff responses etc and create personal
reminders to notify if something is not complete? Can anyone suggest the
correct package to achieve this?

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

I will obviously respond with a Yes! If you want others to interact with
project you'll probably be best advised to go with Project Professional
version which is designed to work on a server in an Enterprise. If you want
more opinion, try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24.
