Why the data in the query does not show?

I open new data source which is a query from Access database. But the data in
the query does not show, why? and What can I do?

What version Publisher? Open the file name of the database (mdb). It will not have
some other extension.

Publisher is not always able to merge queries from Access databases.

If you change the query type to a maketable query, you can merge from the
created table.

Thank you.

I am using Publisher 2003 smallbusiness edition.

How do you convert query to a table?

(Psst. Minnow? It's Pub 2003. Period. There is no small business edition or
large business or monkey business. ;-) )

A query has the same extension as the database (mdb). Simply browse to the file.

Thank you all for replying me.
But my situation is when I open the data source, I can find my database and
the query along with other tables. And I can merge the query, but the merged
query is empty.
Is this the way Publisher does with query? As long as it works fine with
tables, I think converting query to a table is a good idea, but how?

You need to open your database in Microsoft Access, go to the Queries
section.

Create a duplicate copy of your current query, and change the type to
MakeTable.

Execute the query to create a table.

Save and close the database and re-merge with Publisher, selecting your new
table instead of the query.
