I am in a word doc and am unable to move the cursor (by the mouse) to click
on a different location within the doc. I am also unable to scroll by the
right side scroll bar. I have no idea why I suddenly cannot do this and am in
the midst of writing a thesis and need to desperately!! Any advice??? THANKS
SO MUCH!!

1. Close Word.

2. On the Start menu, choose Run and type "regedit," (without the quotation
marks). This will open the Windows Registry, which (if you're not familiar
with it) has folders that are navigated just the same as folders in Windows
Explorer (My Computer).

3. In the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, find the Word Data key at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data

4. The "key" will be a folder named "Data." Delete it. Word will build a new
key upon startup.
