Word Opens Slow

Hi there. I am running Word 2003 and have followed all the instructions for
allowing Word to open quickly. What I have found is that in my Templates
folder I have more then one Normal.dot file. When I delete all but one Word
opens perfectly. When I close word and try to open it again it is slow again
and there was a duplicate Normal.dot file created. How can I stop this
duplication from happening and stop this slow madness? Please please please.

Delete ALL the normal.dot files. Word will automatically create a new one
when it is next opened.

When I delete all Normal.dot files word opens perfectly. It still takes
quite a while to open a file though. And then, just like you said Word
creates another Normal.dot file. But the next time I go to open Word it
takes about 3 minutes. And after opening and closing Word a few times it
seems as if I end up with two Normal.dot files. Any clue? Thanks Terry.
