Hi,

Im creating a Word template for a protocol/minutes for our meetings. On the
first page of the template there is a numbered list representing the agenda
for the meeting.

I got stuck when trying to figure out how to automatically generate a
heading on page 2- for each numbered item in this list. Of course I can use
cross references, but I also want the headings to be updated automatically
whenever I erease or insert a new item in the list.

Any ideas?

Hi Linus,

You're approach this the wrong way round. What you need to do is to create the headings in the body of the document, using Word's
Heading Styles, then use Word's Table of Contents field to generate the agenda listing. If you then add/delete headings, doing a
print preview will update the Table of Contents (which can include page numbers for the Heading pages).
