Accessing Outlook .pst file back up

I

ian

Can you help me?

I have burned a copy of my .pst file from work to bring
home to work on but when I try to open it I get the
message that 'Properties for this info sevice must be
defined prior to use'.

I can't figure out what to do. My version of Outlook in
work is '97 while my home version is 2000 - is this
preventing me from opening the back up file.

Have you transferred the .pst file from work onto your hard drive &
removed the 'read only' attribute? That is the only way that Outlook
will be able to utilize it.
