Bloated Groove Systems Files

I am running out of hard disk space, and simultaneously noticing a slow down
in the operation of Groove. I looked at my files by size and found that two
of the largest files on my hard drive are: C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Groove Networks\Groove\Permanent\
groovebinaryfilestore.xss_ 4.66 GB C:\Documents and Settings\Greg Cabe\Local
Settings\Application Data\Groove Networks\Groove\accounts\
g4k5bjnc29jvbgjiysghyjtn5vxa3xfm5rk4hes 953MB This is surprising because all
but one of my workspaces is a file sharing workspace - that is the files are
all stored as regular files and folders under My Documents/. Couple this
with the fact that all of those files together only amount to less than 2 GB
of information. Therefore it makes no sense for Groove to be storing two
separate files totaling more than twice the data files stored on my computer.
Could you help me: 1) Understand what the Groove files are for? 2) Why they
are so big? 3) How I can safely delete or drastically reduce their size?
