Cannot compress data file

I'm running Outlook 2003 and it is working fine except that when I try to go
to the Advanced options of the properties of my Personal Folders I get the
message "Operation failed. An object could not be found". What I'm trying to
do is go in there to compress the data file.

I have a second mail folder and I have no problem compressing it.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

Unclear post. "Second Mail Folder" means what precisely?
From your incomplete description, you appear to be trying to access an
Outlook data file that has a corrupt connection to your profile. Only you
could know how you corrupted this profile. Tell us the rest of the story.
