Creating Report

Can anyone help me......I'm trying to create a report that will list all
tasks due to start within the next three weeks....I know there must be an
easy way to do it but I'm just not getting it....

Ken,
There is a built-in report called "Tasks starting soon". You can find it
under View/Reports/Current Activities. Of course you can also just apply
the Date Range filter to any task view.

I tried that John but it's not giving me the range I need......I'm just
trying to pull tasks with a start date in a three week range but it also
gives me anything with a finish date in that range and I don't want to see
those......

Define what you want to find in terms of a filter.
Have a look at the "Tasks Starting Soon" Report.
See View, Reports, Custom, "Tasks Starting Soon", Edit.
You can see that it uses the "Date Range ..." filter.
Have a look at the "Date Range ..." filter.
See Project, Filtered For, More Filters, "Date Range ...", Edit.

I would copy the "Date Range ..." filter, re-name it, say "AAA 3 Weeks Out
Start Dates Filter", and modify it to find the start dates you are looking
for.
Then copy the "Tasks Starting Soon" Report, re-name it, say "AAA 3 Weeks Out
Start Dates Report"and insert the new filter into it.
