Custom Error Bars in Excel 2008

Hi there,

I am having an issue with the use of Microsoft Excel 2008. After creating a line graph (on a separate sheet), I try to add in custom error bars and the program crashes. The error message (which is quite long) is detailed below.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and, more importantly, know how to fix it? As you might imagine, my scientific data can't be published without the appropriate error bars being applied. :(

Any help gratefully received. :)

If you could send me the entire crash log (rather than just a portion of it)
that would really help us investigate. Also, does this happen only with a
particular file, or with any file when you're trying to add custom error
bars? If you could send the crash log directly to me
([email protected]) and even a file that shows the problem if you can
share it, that would be great.

Thanks,

Pat
