Cut-and-pasting resources results in loss of precision

I'm using the "Task Entry" view to assign resources to tasks. Im doing it
this way because I want to assign work resources by hours (rather than by
utilization) in a fixed-duration, non-effort driven task.

For several of these tasks, I want to assign the same/similar resources with
the same/similar work hours to multiple tasks. So I enter the resources for
the first task, then copy/paste to the resource cell of another task.
Unfortunately, Project (2002) wants to paste only rounded percentages, not
the hours I assigned.

The result is that the hours for the second task are incorrect. For
example...

TASK 1: 5 days
Resource A: 4 hrs (10%)
Resource B: 24 hrs (67%)
Resource C: 6 hrs (15%)

Project calculates these resources as 10%, 67%, and 15% utilization,
respectively. I copy/paste into the second task, and the result is:

TASK 2: 5 days
Resource A: 4 hrs (10%)
Resource B: 26.8 hrs (67%)
Resource C: 6 hrs (15%)

Not exactly correct. It's even worse if the second task is 10 days long.
Anyone know how I can circumvent this?
