I'm using FP03,with access db's, all forms working OK but I can't EDIT
records. Can view, add, delete, but not edit an existing record. Any ideas
why? Thanks. MikeG

Hi Kathleen,

In db editor I get the normal screen. On the bottom screen half - which I
thought was for editing records - I have a static table. In checking all asp
pages related to this db none have an "edit" option button. Which db
interface wizard generated asp page is for "editing" records - shouldn't be
the database_editor.asp page?
Thanks for your help.

The database_editor.asp is used to edit existing records. Put a checkmark in
the checkbox next to the record you want to edit, and click the field that
is hyperlinked; usually the ID field. It would be helpful if there was a
button for Edit a Record, but there isn't.

There should be an edit button at the bottom of the static table.
The page with the static table is detail.asp, the button loads
edit.asp
