forecast %complete

I need to create a report showing where will be each month on certain tasks
based on % complete so far since the start date? How can I calculate these
forecast percentages?

Select the Task Usage view. Set the calendar to show months. Right mouse
click on any "Work" in the "Details" column. Select "Detail Styles". Select
"Cumulative Percent Complete".
