How do I sort by last name in Word when the last name is listed l.

Need to sort by last name in Word but last name is listed last. Some names
are 2 names up to 4 names.

You can sort by Word 2 if you do a little advance preparation: replace
spaces between first and middle names/initials with nonbreaking spaces
(Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar), and Word will treat the entire group as a single
word.
