I UPGRADED BUT CAN'T OPEN FILES

G

GRMREAPER81

I upgraded from MS Office Pro 2000 to Pro 2003. It was working fine.
Yersterday I tried to use a Publisher file and it said "can not open file". I
tried using Word, Excel, etc. and it will not open the files. It appears to
let me build new worksheets or other files, but after I save them, it will
not let me re-open them. I check for viruses and don't show any. Excel said
that my virus software woud not allow the file to open, so I took my virus
program off...still no luck. I took 2003 off and put my old 2000 on and the
files open fine. I then re-loaded 2003...still no luck.

Does anyone have any hints??? I feel ripped-off since I paid about $250 to
upgrade.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
