When using Office 2000 anytime i double left click to open a excel\word
document the file opens but appends a 1 to the end of the file. If i open
the app by right clicking and choosing open nothing is appended. Even if i
save the file with the 1 appended, the next time i left click to open the
file, it will append yet another 1 to the end of the file name. I'm not sure
what caused this to happen but I'm guessing this has to be fixed by editing
the registry, but I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas.....
