merge new data into old worksheet

I have a worksheet with columns of information about a project.

I have a second worksheet with "current" information I need to merge into
the old one so I dont have to cut and paste all the new data, lose my old
notes etc

Is this possible?

That depends on where you want to paste it. If it's in the same cells, then
you'll lose your old data. Can you give more information about your layout?
Where you want the new data, etc.?
