Hi Gérard !

Well, I need to set a schedule for maintenance of a petrochemical plant. In
the first phase (preparation), I have a workload of 8h/day, and on the
services (stoping) I have a workload of 10h/day.
I did two calendars : one for 8h/day (08:00h - 12:00h/13:00h - 17:00h),
called "padrao", and other for services with 10h/day (08:00h - 12:00h/13:00h
- 19:00h), called "parada". I set up the tasks of services with Calendar
"parada" and all others with Calendar "padrao". The MS Project have set up
8h/day as standard.
When I get the resources in the services, the work is wrong, considering
just 8 h/day, not 10 h/day, as I espected.

I need the workload of resources, reflecting included the plus of 2 h/day in
the services.

Thanks !

Hi Marcos Mello,

Pardon me for jumping in.

I assume the two sets of tasks have resources assigned and I assume their
base calendars are set to the "padrao" (8 hr/per day.).

When you assigned the "parada" calendar to the tasks which require the
10h/day, you will need to check the "Scheduling ignores resource calendar"
option in the Advanced tab of the Task Information form to make Project
ignore the 8h/day calendar that the resources are working from. Without
that check box enabled (checked) the resource's 8h/day calendar still over
rides the task calendar.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie !

I get already "Scheduling ignores resource calendar" checked, but the
problem still there :(

I'm going to set up two independent schedules, each one with a own calendar.
Isn't the best, but it's the possible...

Thanks a lot for your attention !
