Notify your manager of time...

Hi,
My team is using "notify your manager" option when informing non-working
days, but why doesn´t this affect my resources calendar? Is there a way to
programm the administrative tasks to reflect my resources calendars?

In the future, please post your Project Server questions to the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is shutting
down.

To answer your question, the "Notify your manager" option is meant for use
only with an Administrative project. It does NOT transfer to each
resource's personal calendar in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Because of
this, we recommend that you do not use Administrative projects with planned
nonworking time, such as vacation. If you are interested in an application
where team members can submit nonworking time, have it approved, and then
have Project Server automatically add the nonworking time on the resource's
calendar in the Enterprise Resource Pool, then please contact our company
about the Time Away application we wrote to solve this problem. Click
either link in my signature block to contact our company. Hope this helps.
