Office 2003 Pro Re-Install Problem

S

Scott

Every time I restart my compuer, and open Outlook to check my e-mail, Windows
goes to re-install something, I believe it has something to do with Word. If
I close Outlook too quickly, a Word window opens and I cannot close it until
the installer is done. I get a message too, but I don't recall it at this
moment. Thanks for your time.

If you could post the exact error you received and the steps taken to recreate
the error, it would help immensely.

There isn't actually an error.
The window that pops up, and says "You cannot close Microsoft Office Word
because a dialog box is open. Click ok, switch to Word, and then close the
dialog box" I then click "ok", and after a small amout of time I close Word.
This only happens when I first start my system and open Outlook, I have not
tried to replicate this in Word, Excel, or Publisher. After the inital time
of going through this I can reopen Outlook as much as I want and it will not
happen again until I re-boot my system.
