Overwrite Enterprise Resource Pool

Hello,

How would I overwrite the Enterprise resource pool in Project Web Access
with a locally (file) saved resource pool? I have tried using the Import
Resources wizard but it will not allow me to advance any further than
selecting resources, at which point it states there exist duplicate resources
and I must change names. It is true that some of the resources in my locally
saved resource pool are the same in the Enterprise resource pool. I wish to
completely overwrite, however, the Enterprise pool with my new resource pool.
How do I accomplish this?

I would check in the Project Server group, but provided you have an up to
date backup of the SQL database, then you would need to delete the duplicate
resources or rename them first. Renaming is safer as it preserves historic
data.

Then use the import resources wizard.

Thank you. I renamed the resources and used the import resources wizard, and
although I had to re-modify some resource information (such as working times
and cost rates), I now have the resource pool I want as the Enterprise
Resource pool in Project Web Access.
